Oh friends. Please don’t judge me for today’s post.

Quarantine has been hard on all of us, but it has been especially hard on my product obsession. Oh dear.

Mid-March, when all of the craziness began, Nordstrom had a HUUUUUUGE sale on the majority of their skincare products. Everything was one sale. Even the products that never go on sale. It was a free for all over there, and I had some Nordstrom gift cards from Christmas and my birthday burning a hole in my wallet. I mean, if am going to shelter-in-place and homeschool my kids, I might as well have some fun, new products to play with. Am I right?

Also . . . my crew did VERY well on Mother’s Day, and gave me a gift bag FULL of different face masks and serums. I mean, how am I supposed to break my habit when I have three, cute guys supplying me over here?!?!

So, today, I am going to give you the MUST HAVES that I have discovered over the last two months. When I opened up my drawers to dig through my stash, I randomly grabbed ten items that I LOOOVE.

While I haven’t shaved 5 years off of my face like I was hoping, I have found some great success in areas that I have been struggling with!

ONE

Up until mid-March, I had never heard of Sunday Riley. I now realize that it has somewhat of a cult following. Those of us that have reached the age of 40 need a little more help, and Sunday Riley appears to be the answer. I have been searching for a decent eye cream for awhile now, and this stuff is currently holding strong as my go to. Each time I use this, my eyes lose any puffiness and darkness that may be hanging around. You can grab on Amazon or Dermstore. I use this every morning. LOVE!

TWO

I discovered this little gem when I was doing late-night research on clean products that pack a serious punch when it comes to getting rid of nasty congestion in the t-zone area. This Caudalie Glycolic Peel does not disappoint. You leave it on your face for 10 minutes, and then your face looks like you just left the spa. Seriously. This stuff is GREAT! I really think that a combination of using this product and the next one listed is really what has helped me kick a nasty congestion situation that was going on with my nose. You can find at Sephora, although I have seen on Amazon in the past as well. I use this once a week.

THREE

Back in early March, when all of the craziness started getting real, I really noticed that the stress and uncertainty was popping up on my face. My nose to be more specific. I was really looking like a 14-year-old teenager with skin problems. This sulfur mask from Dr. Dennis Gross saved my skin. It exfoliates and pulls out all of the nastiness in your skin. Now, you need to use a TON of hydrating serum and moisturizer when you use this mask. It is pretty strong, and has a tendency to dry you out if you use frequently. I grabbed mine at Nordstrom, and use this twice a week!

FOUR

When a cute 30-year-old blogger tells me that I need to use these, I will listen and research, BUT know that I may need more help with my 40ish skin than she does. But, when NUMEROUS bloggers are telling my I need these, I had to try them. I really, really like these resurfacing facial pads. I use them after cleansing my face and before any serums. I feel like they just give a great once over on the face to make sure that everything is clean and we are working with a great base. I grabbed these on both the Elemis website and on Amazon.

FIVE

This mask is the bomb! It is truly amazing. You put it on your tired and dry skin for 15-20 minutes, and then BAM! Your skin is plump, hydrated, and it doesn’t look like you accidentally drank that bottle of wine by yourself last night! I get these on the Farmacy website, and always get the 4-pack! GREAT price when not discounted, but I always feel like they are having sales! I use this once a week or so when I am feeling scrubbish.

SIX

I was in need of a new, daily face sunscreen for the summer, and enter in SuperGoop. I love this brand. It always works and the texture is so dreamy. I chose the Glow Screen over the Matte Screen so that I could have a dewy look under my makeup. This has a very mild tent to it, and I feel like it will double as my only face makeup many times over the next few months. I grabbed mine on the recent Sephora sale, although I have seen on Amazon in the past. I use this every morning!

SEVEN

Sunday Riley continues to be amazing. This serum uses lactic acid to exfoliate, brighten, and plump. Yes please! No matter how hard I am on my skin, one pump of this makes me feel like I am somehow fixing my problems. The reviews are amazing too! I am definitely a Sunday Riley lover now. You can grab this on Amazon or on Dermstore, and I use this every night!

EIGHT

Oh IPKN Salad Days! I talked about this last week in my Friday Favorites post because I LOVE IT! LOOOOOOOVE it! The first few weeks I used it, dead skin was literally peeling off of my face as I was washing with this miracle product. Now, that I am using it regularly, the skin fall off isn’t as dramatic, but it is still there. Basically, I am going to say that this means this product is working. I think this is one of my forever products. Have I mentioned that I love this stuff? I found mine on Amazon, and I use this two or three times a week.

NINE

This is one of the masks that Reid and the boys got me for Mother’s Day, and it has become a FAST favorite. Each night when I get into bed, this is the last thing that I put on my face, neck and hands before going to sleep. It is a cool, gel-like moisturizer that absorbs quickly. When I wake up in the morning, my skin is super soft and doesn’t feel dehydrated. Reid grabbed mine on Amazon because it has 4.5 stars. Bless his heart. I have used this almost every night since Mother’s Day. Go grab some for yourself. Great price, and this will be SUPER helpful this summer with the dry heat of Texas.

TEN

I believe that I have talked about my love for this serum before! Vintner’s Daughter seems to have a cult following. Over the last couple of years, my friends that have the most amazing skin talk about this serum. Now, it is PRICEY! I used a gift card at Nordstrom for my first bottle at the beginning of the year, and it is just now almost finished! Seriously, the stuff lasted for almost six months! I grabbed my second bottle recently on one of these crazy sales that have been going on.

This serum is dreamy! I put it on after I have cleansed my face, and I have seen such a difference in hydration and texture. LOVE IT! If I can win the lottery, then this will be a forever product for me. Like I said . . . PRICEY! But, it does last a long time and I am loving it! I use this morning and night. Nordstrom is currently not selling this product, but I did find it on Amazon for a higher price!
