PEOPLE . . . it is Friday and it is DECEMBER!

And, it is only NINETEEN DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!! How has this happened? This is my favorite time of year! December means hot chocolate, scarf weather, wearing Ugg boots 50% of each day, smores by the firepit, the Dallas Cowboys trying to make it into the playoffs in the worst way possible, my birthday, and CHRISTMAS! Best.month.ever.

Today, here is a random assortment of my Friday Favorites! Happy Friday!!

ONE

Oh, be still my heart. I love our sweet school and how they encourage public speaking at such a young age. This little nugget did his “county report” yesterday, and taught all of us about Lubbock County. Did you know that it was founded by the Lubbock brothers, and one of the brothers was the governor of Texas? Yeah, me neither. Sweet Jackson schooled me on that one. Please note that this picture was taken just before he started presenting. Totally giving me the eye to make sure I am in proper picture taking/filming position. Love him.

So, over Thanksgiving, the best friend asked if I wanted to go see this play with her. Of course, I said yes because I love a good play. But, I had ZERO information as to what this was about. Didn’t want to know. I wanted to be surprised. And, oh friends. Wow! This play gives you ALL the feels. It is about teen suicide. Not an uplifting topic, I know. But this play is raw, beautiful, funny, uplifting, tragic, and wonderful. Just amazing. I loved it. I laughed. I cried. The music was amazing and the characters are all lovable. I am so happy that I went to see this, and I will definitely be thinking about it for weeks to come. If this is coming to a city near you – GO SEE IT! #youwillbefound

I just posted my Day 6 Birthday Favorite on my Lunchbox Babies Instagram page stories. It was the brand Fitish! Totally not an ad, but just completely obsessed. Jenna Owens, a local Kidd Kraddick morning show DJ, started this CBD-infused skincare line last year. She has several products now within the line, but these are my favorite two. Dewing It moisturizer and the lip therapy. The moisturizer is like butter. My make up goes on better when I use it in the morning, and my face feels super soft when I use it at night. I use the lip therapy each night and my lips STILL feel moisturized when I wake up in the morning. I ran out of this stuff in mid-October, and kept forgetting to order. UNTIL Black Friday when I stocked up with their sweet deals. So pumped to have these two amazing products back in my life.
