My JULY BOOK REVIEW post was live on Monday, and I have already had so many fun comments and recommendations from you guys! If you follow my Lunchbox Babies Instagram page, then you saw me chatting about this yesterday afternoon!

I am hard on my skin during the summer. I wear sunscreen, but I am outside a TON! And, there are days that the best make up routine I can manage after a day outside is a Neutrogena makeup remover cloth and then call it a day. Needless to say that by early August every year mama is in need of some heavy moisturizer to correct the issues I have created!

The other day I was at Target, and randomly googled “Best Beauty Finds at Target”. That genius google took me to a recent Allure article with all kinds of fun finds. One of the highly recommended products in the article was this Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rich Cream. At Target it retails for $32 and is currently buy 1 and get 1 50% off! Great deal. If you end up missing that deal, you can grab on Amazon for roughly $26!

I have REALLY enjoyed this Target goodness! It is a heavy cream and you really have to rub it in. But, once it absorbs, I stay moisturized with hydrated skin for hours! I have been incorporating it into my morning and night skincare routines, and have been happy with the results. Definitely an inexpensive fix for people that jack up their skin during the summer. Like me!

Since February, I have been so honored to be a monthly contributor for Moms Encouraging Moms. Each day a different writer publishes a meaningful article for the roughly 4,000 members. The slice of Heaven in the picture above is Laguna Beach. Oh, Laguna. How I love you. Laguna Beach – and its surrounding areas – is our family’s HAPPY PLACE!

Tomorrow – YES, tomorrow – we are headed to our happy place for a week! To say that we are excited is a TOTAL understatement! CAN.NOT.WAIT.

Here is Harlan at nine months. He had no clue that boogie boarding on that very beach would be his favorite thing in just a few years!
