Happy Friday!! Has anyone ever had a week where you discover a dog pee stain on your guest room comforter, have a one hour window where you are under the assumption you are in need of an emergency root canal, realize that a freezer door has been opened for 24 hours and all items are now thawed, and you can’t have wine because of a silly percentage weight loss bet with your husband and some friends? Oh wait, is it just me?

HELLO FRIDAY! I love you. While this week has had some crazy issues, it has also been filled with lazy mornings, great books, pool floats, and snuggly movie nights. But, still HELLO FRIDAY!

Today’s post is short and sweet! I have a few FRIDAY FAVORITES to show you! Here we go . . .

ONE

The Beucler crew is PUMPED! Today at noon, we are headed to Long Cove on Cedar Creek Lake. This is a quick drive from Dallas, and we are looking forward to indulging in a little relaxation. TWO

Be still my heart! Yesterday at San Diego Comic Con, the new Top Gun: Maverick trailer was released. Click here to see it for yourself. I totally got major goosebumps watching this trailer. I AM SO EXCITED! My brother was obsessed with Top Gun, and watched it almost everyday one summer when we were kids. In fact, he got to name one our our dogs growing up. You guessed it . . . my dog growing up was named Maverick!

If you loved the original Top Gun, watch this trailer ASAP! And, then tell me how Tom Cruise does not age. The man is 57 years old and looks amazing! So pumped for this movie! Woohoo!

THREE

Once I hit 40, I had the fun discovery of realizing that under my eyes weren’t as bright, smooth and youthful as they once were. Boo! Makeup would crease and cake in the fine lines, and I was struggling trying to find an eye cream that would help.

I mentioned this eye cream earlier this year, and I have to say that I am STILL in love! The StriVectin eye gel is the bomb! Super moisturizing, and I feel like makeup sits better, my skin looks smoother, and even a bit brighter.
