Happy Friday, friends! Woohoo! It is basically the weekend! May is I.N.S.A.N.E. people. Lots going on, and it only means we are ticking closer to summer! Can I get an AMEN?

Sad news that Howard the Duck (our giant duck float) died a sad death by either a crazy thunderstorm or by a very annoying dog of ours, but we are pushing through and Amazon may just be nice enough to “accidentally” deliver us Howard the Duck 2. And, by accidentally I mean that I clicked “place this order” without chatting with Reid about it! Ha. That happens 99% of the time around here.

In fact, I saw this meme the other day, and I just LOVE it! It would be PERFECT for the Beucler household if it also discussed how the boys and I refer to Reid as “Mr. Amazon”. We have a problem. We can admit it.

ANYWAY . . . it is Friday, and I love sharing my Friday Favorites with you from time to time! So, here we go!

ONE

Do Facebook memories wreck anyone else? Seriously, Facebook. I love to see these fun pictures, but my heart can only take so much. Tuesday was May 7th, which is Harlan’s half birthday (Yes, The Beuclers celebrate those days. We are “those” people!) and Duke’s actual birthday. Harlan LOVED Duke and loved sharing a special day with him. This was six years ago. Harlan was five in this picture, and sweet Duke was nine. Facebook choose to share this memory to me and force tears. Nice try, Facebook!

The only thing to mention besides I need another five-year-old in my life because they are SO CUTE, is that Duke Kensington Beucler was the best dog on the entire planet. Still is. A dog trainer told me recently that he thinks each person has one dog that is their soulmate. One special dog that you will always compare all others to. If that is true, then Duke was my doggy soulmate. Sweet boy.

TWO

Okay, let’s go from super sentimental to SUPER VAIN! I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was trying a product that Khloe Kardashian apparently thinks is amazing. Please note that I don’t typically follow the Kardashians in all that they do, but if you suggest a lotion that will smooth and firm the skin of my booty in time for summer? Well, I will be throwing down my credit card and trying that bad boy!!! The anti-cellulite cream claims to tighten “your butt & thighs, burn fat, lift & firm”. YES.PLEASE.

The Maely’s B-Tight Booty Mask (I mean, just typing that . . . I can’t believe I am sharing this with you) is an interesting product. You rub it on your bottom and thighs. About a minute after you put on the cream, it will start to burn. Not like “Help me, I’m on fire” burn, but more of a “This is super warm, and clearly must be working” burn. The sensation can last for 30 minutes or so. And, then the feeling goes away and your booty is softer. Seriously.

I have been using this every morning for a month. I put it on, and then go about getting myself and kids ready for the day. They have no clue that their mother has a bottom on fire while I am serving them breakfast. I mean, y’all! I have to say that while this is not yet produced a cellulite-free, Victoria’s Secret model booty, it has made my skin softer and possibly a bit smoother. I will definitely continue you using this for another month to assess the situation.

This stuff is AMAZING!!!! I am always on the lookout for the miracle eye cream, and never really fall in love with anything. Everything is either too drying, or just doesn’t seem to do anything. Enter this amazing little product!

This eye cream by StriVectin is a cooling gel that minimizes the look of lines, dark circles, and puffiness. The first time that I tried a little sample on my hand, I was immediately smitten. The spot on my hand stayed baby soft and super moisturized all day long! This stuff is PUMPED full of Hyaluronic Acid, which is apparently all the rage these days for the moisturizing of our skin! This was an accidental find, and I think it will be particularly great during those hot Texas summer months!

FOUR

This last Friday Favorite is a very personal one!

Earlier this week, my boys were making designs with dominoes and filming the destruction in slo-mo videos. Because, you know, boys. I was dealing with laundry, and wasn’t paying much attention until they brought me the phone with this picture that they had just taken . . .

Y’all. Such a treat. My boys are so sweet with me, but they don’t go around making me love notes on a regular basis. This made my day.

I fought so hard for these miracle boys of mine. They touch my heart daily, but I am so thankful when I get something like this to hold onto. And, of course to use in times of arguing, blackmail, and future rehearsal dinners. Ha!

On that note, I want to just say that I will be thinking of ALL of you on Mother’s Day! I know that many of you have children, and I know that many of you do not. Last Mother’s Day, I wrote a post about the difficulty of the holiday when you are experiencing infertility and loss. If you would like to look back on that post, click here. Praying for you all.
