Welcome to Lunchbox Babies!

Hi! I’m Shawna.  This little idea has been in my head for over ten years, but I have worn many hats along the way.  I started working at 15. I put myself through college by being a waitress. Mostly at TGI Friday’s. I rocked the “flare” (i.e. assortment of buttons), and I did once say “Its always Friday in here” to a group of business men. It didn’t go over well. I was a law firm recruiter right out of college, and got paid to take people out on the town. I worked in financial consulting. I had a short-lived career as a real estate agent. I’ve sold jewelry, I’ve sold health supplements, and I may have sold essential oils at one point. I learned that, while I am a people person, I am horrible at sales. If I like something I will tell you, but I will leave the actual sales stuff to the professionals!

Now, I’m a wife, a mom, a Christian, a survivor of some hard stuff, and a blogger! I love all things related to Starbucks, Mexican food, wine (no Sauvignon Blanc, thank you!), college sports, and the Dallas Cowboys.  I look forward to building an awesome community here with you guys.

I have a CRAZY story of infertility. I have been pregnant eleven times, I am blessed to have two miracle boys with me here, and I have a football team in Heaven. I believe that we are all in this together, and we should support each other through hope, humor, and faith! Please reach out to me whenever the mood strikes!  I’d love to hear from you!
